Our Community Outreach program is dedicated to helping those in need. Recently, we have been focusing on providing nutritious community feedings and hygiene giveaways to those who cannot afford them. We invite you to read more about our projects and see how you can help.
PROJECT 5: SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE/PRAYER
85% of the homeless community desire a closer relationship with God!! Many desire a deeper walk with God for purpose of sustaining the test and trials they're currently facing! PTS offer prayer lines to give opportunities for individuals who are desiring prayer with us. Each opportunity 85% or more are there desiring prayer.
PTS is dedicated to allowing prayer times 3 times a week for an hour for individuals to call in if in need of prayer. We have now grown to over 22 individuals who faithfully call in for prayer when facing hard times.
Our Motto: God is our hope!
Psalm 46:1-God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
PROJECTS
PROJECT 1: Established Agencies
Establishing healthy partnerships with agencies are important for COMPLETE manifestation of our communities!! PTS has partnered with local Police departments, Pinellas County Sheriff Department, Senior adult living centers, Schools, Homeless coalitions, and many more!! Why reinvent the wheel? Why not partner and take this journey together through Unity for greater Impact!!
PROJECT 2: Transitional Housing
PTS has been dedicated to providing temporary/transitional and affordable housing since 2011. We started by getting 4 homeless veterans off the streets and providing temporary housing in Clearwater, Florida in 2011. Our goal is to offer love and support to those who need a helping hand. During the temporary housing, we also offer outsourced GED assistance, Job preparation/Resume assistance, Spiritual Guidance, Family reconnection, Food/Hygiene assistance and much more! Our focus is that when each individual leaves for the home and/or facility, they are self-sufficient and ready for the world!
PROJECT 3: Community Involvement/Giving Back!
Our first mission was to be the light to those who are facing dark life situations. We first started traveling to various low-income communities in 2014 to provide food and social relief. PTS partnered with various church groups and nonprofit organizations at community parks to host families with children give aways, food, school clothing, hygiene products, light bill assistance, gift cards, and more. Pinellas County Sheriff Department partnered with us and traveled with us to once a month low-income community.
The spread continued for years, and the numbers increased as we united together, making great impact with several established agencies!!
